These are the projects written up in detail. They are a selection, not the record — AQMW has completed more than 170 projects since 2017. The ones below were chosen because each shows something different about how the work gets done.
Selected projects
SLC International Airport
4,800 linear feet of 304 stainless guardrail and handrail through the parking structure — every panel a different baluster spacing, all of it long-grain finished.
The Residences at St. Regis
743 linear feet of balcony guardrail, roughly half of it glass infill, anchored into post-tensioned cantilevers that were scanned before anyone drilled.
City Creek Center
Twelve-foot grass-motif panels cut from 1/2" stainless plate, spliced in the field with concealed attachments welded and polished on site.
Career Tech High School
~450 linear feet of glass guardrail on stairs, mezzanine edges and upper corridors. Our largest glass package to that point.
Elko Nevada Temple
51 panels in cast aluminum plate finished in Fluropon — machined relief above every window, and an eight-piece entrance transom that reads as one.
Casper Wyoming Temple
Aluminum window frames on mild steel structure, glazed with stained glass on the ground and flown into the building by crane.
Helena Montana Temple
Three scopes, two of them things the shop had never built: a baptistry railing, layered laser-cut transoms, and a cupola built as two welded assemblies.
Memphis Tennessee Temple
A stalled bronze package taken over mid-contract with virtually no shop drawings. Hand-applied antique patina, delivered in three months.
Raleigh North Carolina Temple
Same design, same failed subcontractor, second building — back to back with Memphis rather than a year apart.
Port-au-Prince Haiti Temple
The only project carrying aluminum, stainless and bronze in one building — fully welded and finished to read as mechanically connected.
Willamette Water Treatment Plant
2,780 linear feet of clear-anodized aluminum guardrail, plus stairs, embeds and 316 stainless structural. 40,457 lbs shipped.
Gilbert Northwest Water Treatment Plant
4,530 linear feet — 63% more rail than Willamette, for the same steel fabricator. In progress.
