Tell us the hard part first.
It is the part we price.
The more we know up front, the tighter the number and the fewer the surprises. Drawings, the spec section and a bid date get us most of the way. If there is a mock-up requirement, an approved-sample clause or a finish that cannot be touched up, say so — those are the clauses we price to rather than around.
Drawings are the fastest way to a real number. Email them to info@arnoldquality.com and reference the project name above — large sets are easier by email than through a form.
What makes an estimate fast
Drawings and the spec section. Section 05 5213, 05 5223, 05 5225 or whatever the project calls the ornamental and decorative metal scope.
The finish schedule. On these metals the finish drives the lead time more than the fabrication does — see Materials & Finishes for what each one costs you in schedule.
Whether we are installing. Supply only and furnish-and-install are two different jobs with two different risk profiles, and we price them differently.
