My name is Zach Arnold and I am the MFCEO of Arnold Quality Metal Works, an Ornamental Metals Fabricator for Commercial Construction, based in Logan, Ut.
I live in Logan, Utah with my Gorgeous Wife of 14 years and our 4 amazing children.
Since the time I was a small child I can remember being fascinated by Metal and the Craftsmen that work this amazing material.
When I was a teenager, my growing love of motorcycles and all things awesome ignited my pursuit of the skills required for such dreams. I began taking Welding classes at my local Technical College.
Upon completion of my schooling, I set off into the workforce, learning and honing my skills over the next decade, building everything from handrails and structural steel, to containers to ship nozzles for Space Shuttle Rockets and Barrier systems to protect US Navy ports around the World. I have built Wireline Trucks, Gangways for the USS George Washington, High Pressure Compression Systems to open new Gas Fields in the Middle East, and countless other varying projects covering many Industries.
It didn't take me long to realize the what Industry Standards had labeled as acceptable Quality Levels, and what I thought Acceptable Quality was, were two different things.
Over the years I learned that doing lower quality work, skipping steps, cutting corners all in the name of saving money, producing an inferior product, or spending hours on rework was not the way things should be done. I didn't believe in it, and I know I'm not alone in my thoughts.
So in February of 2017 I founded Arnold Quality Metal Works, based on the following Core Values:
Honor. We do what's right, even when it is not the Easy choice.
Pride. In the work that we do, paying attention to every detail. Pride in the things we are able to accomplish through Power of Will.
Respect. For our work, for the processes, and for our daily interactions.
Discipline. This is the oil that keeps our finely tuned Machine moving forward and progressing.
Ingenuity. We will solve any problem that we face. We provide solutions, not excuses.
Industriousness. We focus on the task at hand, and Conquer every Mission we Accept. We will outwork Everyone!
Attention to Detail. In all aspects of Life and Business, we know that nothing but our absolute best is acceptable.
This is more than just a Welding and Fabrication Shop, This is a Way of Life.
"It's Not Just Quality, It's Arnold Quality."
From a young age I picked up on mechanics and how things worked naturally. My parents did not believe in video games, so my childhood was spent outside riding bikes in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. Legos and erector sets took up my rainy days indoors, not knowing that my future would be working on some large-scale builds both in the shop and in the field. When I was fourteen years old, my grandpa told me I could not use his welder unless I went to school to learn how I was very fortunate that the high school welding program let me in as a freshman that was not normal. I used my new skill as a hobby tinkering, fixing things for my friends while working various manufacturing assembly lines and driving forklifts in a twenty below zero freezer warehouse. I love cars especially driving cars so my wife and I quit our Walmart careers and moved to Laramie Wyoming so I could get an associate degree in service management with automotive technologies, chassis fabrication and high horsepower engines.
After completing school, I was hired at a welding fabrication shop where I started my adventure as a professional welder working at various shops in northern UT. Working on projects all around the country from grain elevators and towers, aerospace tooling, structural and ornamental installs including military bases and temples. With 12 years welding experience working in the shop and field I have welded on a lot of metal using multiple processes meeting a lot of interesting people along the way. My wife and I enjoy working and raising our children in the mountains of cache valley. Every day is an adventure for us, and it is fun to watch our kids grow and take an interest in riding bikes and riding snowboards.
